The Swap Token fincionality

The Swap Token function enables merchants to seamlessly replace an external payment service provider (PSP) token — such as one originating from the PSP gateways — with a our native token.

This feature is particularly valuable for merchants who already have stored payment credentials (eg. for subscriptions or recurring billing) and want to swap these tokens without requiring customers to re-enter their card or payment details.

Key Capabilities

• Token Vault Migration: Allows merchants to bring existing customer payment tokens from an external PSP into our vault, maintaining the link to the customer’s original payment instrument.
• Recurring Payment Continuity: Enables ongoing recurring charges (e.g., for subscriptions) to continue without disruption, even after the merchant moves to us as the primary payment processor.
• Security & Compliance: No raw card data needs to be collected again from customers. The swap is performed using secure, token-to-token exchange.
