Finmo

This guide will walk you through the process of activating Finmo with NORBr.

Step 1: Contract signature

Sign a contract with Finmo, and get access to the back office.

Step 2 : Retrieve your credentials

  1. Log into your Finmo Merchant Account - Sandbox / Production

  2. Select the settings tab from the left side menu and click on API keys under DEVELOPER SETTINGS

  1. Press on Generate API Keys
  1. Store the API keys that will pop up on your screen somewhere safe.
    N.B. you will not be able to see the password more than once.

Step 3 : Setup your webhook

Navigate back to the settings menu and select Webhooks

Press on Update Webhook URL and enter the below:

Step 4: Setup the webhook header

Navigate back to the settings menu and select Webhook Custom Header

  1. Prepare a random string as the custom header, use this website for example
  2. Copy the Generated string and add it in the Finmo custom header
  1. Keep the string value at hand for the next step

Step 5: Add a Merchant Contract to your Payment Network

  1. Log into your Merchant Account.
  2. Navigate to: Payment Network → Service Providers → Payment Providers → Add a Partner
  3. From the drop-down list, select Finmo.
  4. Give your contract a name for easier identification: eg. PSP name.
  5. Setup general setting and fill in the credentials you earlier retrieved in step 2.
  • Merchant Contract ID will populate automatically.
  • Settlement currency: select from the drop-down menu. You will only see the available ones.
  • Select sales channel.
  • Authentication and Risk Assessment: leave without changes.
  • Connection settings: fill in the credentials you retrieved.
  • To activate the contract set the status to active.

Step 6: Activate payment methods

Once you set up the connection by creating the Merchant Contract, you will be able to activate payment methods available for this Partner.

In the settings of your Merchant Contract where you earlier filled in the credentials and put other settings in place, you will see a section Payment Methods with two sub-sections: Active and Available.
